Passionate about teaching empathy through music and creativity, Austin Thomas is a music educator and jazz pianist from Houston, Texas. After attending the renowned High School for Performing and Visual Arts, he would later move on to attend The University of Texas at Austin. While a student, he would perform locally and internationally at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, North Sea Jazz Festival in Netherlands, and the historic Elephant Room. These communities immersed Thomas in a deep creative atmosphere, surrounded by many visionaries throughout his life. Playing with and being inspired by prodigious peers, Thomas knew he would devote his career to help others find their own creative voice.

He is currently teaching Jazz Piano Classes at Indiana University while completing a Doctoral degree and continuing to maintain a private studio of students.
